They Live, We Sleep

Existential, astral pleading
Cast asunder, crying, bleeding
Aching, praying, here decaying
Dark, descending, cable laying
Transatlantic, start to panic
Scripture's truth, with heart Satanic
Diseased, disturbed, fatigue completed
Replete, redacted, and depleted
Resource lost, hidden cost
Paint with doves, but hurt like war
Wounds recited, secret, idle
Lined with hands still clutching idols
Engine stalling, hell is calling
Collecting souls caught up in falling
Frozen coast, untouchables
With wires running, transferred funds
Glasses wearing, specter staring
Spectral monochrome displays
Fight revealing, waking, peeling
Showing off the end of days
Webs of weavers, dark deceivers
Torture healers, hang believers
Set their sights on sacred places
Make believing about races
Ever sleeping, mental leaking
Mesmerized to aid their living
These serpents sinking, fangs unending
Seeking coffins, steeped in soil
To build for us a tomb of toil
Golgotha gasping, Legion grasping
Digging pits for deeper masking
Advertising fascist tactics
Lining up these empty tombs
For you and I and me and you
Graves dug with repetitious chanting
Calling for the end of us
History at last unfolding
Gravitational graduation boldly
Going in circles already run
Lessons you never fucking learned
Flow like empty stars collapsing
I fear this vision is relapsing
Broken syllables as answers
Obey, Consume, Repeat
They Live, We Sleep
