Won't You Break For Me?

Scratching my lungs

Deep under the sun

I crawl until it aches

Falling out of love

Won't you break for my waves?

Pray for me at night

The dawn bleeds for days

Into this multicolored life

I'm finding my way

Twisting my arms

Get this heart back in shape

Still under the gun

I'm under the weight

And up with the weather

Plotting my escape

Just waiting to run

It itches my brain

All of these regrets

Get carried away

Until I can reset

Let the chemistry change

The tragedies recent

Turn them to shade

So that I can rest here today

Won't you break for me?

This unfair exchange

I know that you're upset

And I'm still to blame

Won't you rest with me?

Until we rebuild ourselves?

And when we can love ourselves

The entropy will fade

No time to delay

I'm at critical mass

Caught in the memory

The web of our past

I've made my mistakes

I've fallen to pieces

I've crashed like the sea

And now, I'm going to break

Won't You Break For Me?
